The Trader’s Edge score, with every reason shown.

The 101 most traded US names, ranked by one score that adds up six inputs we already compute: the trend checks, relative volume, insider buying, the next earnings date, options gamma and flow, and the distance to key levels. Open any name to see each input and its points.

Close of Mon, Oct 26, 2026. End of day.

Method

How the score is built.

  • Trend structure: half the trend score, so 0 to 50 points. The trend score is the share of fourteen daily chart checks that are true (every check).
  • Relative volume: volume at two times its average or more adds 10, at 1.5 times adds 6, at its average adds 3.
  • Insider buying: open-market purchases filed on Form 4 in 30 days add 10, or 15 when they total $1 million or more. Sales add nothing.
  • Earnings proximity: a report within seven days takes off 10, because a scheduled event is close.
  • Options: where the desk reads the chain, positive dealer gamma adds 5 and negative takes off 5. Calls at 60% of premium or more add 5, at 40% or less take off 5.
  • Key levels: within 5% of the 52-week high adds 15. Otherwise, within 3% of the 50-day average while above the 200-day adds 10. Stretched more than 3 daily ranges above the 20-day takes off 5.

The sum is held between 0 and 100. Ties go to the higher trend score, then the higher relative volume. The formula was written down before it was run and changes only with a new published version.

What it is not: a forecast or a rating of what happens next. Nobody has measured it against later returns, so we publish no return or hit-rate figure for it. It ranks context, and it ranks only the names on this page.
